COOKIE PRACTICE

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that the internet browser saves on the user's device. Cookies do not damage the user's device or files. Using cookies is a common practice on most websites. Cookies are basically divided into session-specific and permanent cookies. Session-specific cookies expire when the user ends the web service, permanent cookies remain in the browser for a certain time or until the user deletes them.
Cookies have two purposes: on the one hand, they make it easier to use the website, for example by remembering the choices and settings made by the user, on the other hand, they help in developing the website and analyzing usage data. Certain functions do not work without cookies.

How do we use cookies?

We use cookies on our websites to improve the user experience, compile information for marketing purposes and develop our website. We also use cookies to optimize the speed of our website.

Website development

We use cookies to collect website visitor statistics and analyze the data. We track, among other things, which pages are visited and how long the visitor stays on different pages. Our goal is to develop the quality and content of our website.

Marketing

Cookies allow us to display advertisements and offers based on the user's activity on the website, regardless of whether he is logged in or not. We also use cookies e.g. in customer surveys.

What types of cookies do we use?

Session-specific cookies

Session-specific cookies expire when the user ends the session in the web service.

Persistent cookies

A permanent cookie has a specific retention period, i.e. validity period, which determines how long it remains on the computer or mobile device. Such cookies are stored until their validity expires or until they are manually deleted.

Third party cookies

Third-party cookies are cookies that another party installs on the device on our behalf. This happens when a service provider provides services for us, such as analysis services or services that allow our pages to be shared on social media. For example, if you use buttons when sharing content online with your friends via social media such as Facebook, this third party may place cookies on your computer.
